Hi All
As we have entered the second lock-down in
Greece I have started my solo Pacto games again.
My Cyrenean Greeks faced off against my Romans.
Romans were attackers and after terrain was set
up the Romans went first moving the Roman Foot up as fast as they could.
Thracians and Gaul's in the wood moved forward
to face the Libyan warriors, while the legion moved its foot up as fast as possible.
The Roman cavalry was tasked with delaying the
Cyrenean chariots.
On round 2 the chariots charged forward opposing
the 3 Tugs of chariots were 2 Roman cavalry which skirmished and a Superior
Legion that received the charge of one enemy Tug.
On round 3 the Roman foot charged in hitting
the Hoplites and the wounds were flying in. After the melee the Romans had lost
3 Tugs (2 Gaul's and the Thracians) while the Greeks lost 3 Tugs as well (2
Hoplites and a chariot).
After that the Libyan allies tried to turn and
hit the Romans from the side but bad cards did not help. On the other hand the
Romans managed to turn some Tugs and hit the Hoplites from the side causing
even more damage.
By turn 5 it was over. The Greeks lost 6 Tugs
(the army) and the Romans had 4 lost Tugs.
It was fast (as Pacto is) and Fun (as all MEG
variants are).

Thanks for showing these and in particular for showing that the system can be played solo. My copy arrived a couple of days ago with 2 Pacto armies.
